What Food Do You Provide ?

We Provide whatever food you would normally feed your pet. Cat's can be very sensitive to their routine's being changed and very often the first thing they will do is stop eating. Ensuring the food available is the usual one helps minmize this risk.

Please Note this does not include specialised vetinary diets.

My Cat is on Medication - is this OK?

Absolutely yes.... We have a number of customers who bring their cat's to us bcause of the special care we give their cats who are on medication.

Are your cattery units cleaned regularly?

Our units are cleaned, disinfected and sprayed with a feline friendly virucide prior to your cats’ arrival and then freshened on a daily basis. Litter trays are cleaned as soon as they become soiled. We check chalets and their occupants at least once every 2 hours.

What do the Boarding Fees include?

All our boarding fees as indicated on our tariff page includes the following:Food, Boarding, Insurance & Heating,

Why Aren't you Fab Listed ?

The Fab listing scheme closed in 2010 due to costs - Any cattery that had the listing at that point will keep it's listing until it either closes or changes hands. Any Cattery displaying the Fab Listing is now self certifying rather than undergoing the rigour of inspection. The listing also ceased to be available in 2014.

General Conditions:

Cats must be fully vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. If your cat has not been vaccinated, it will not be accepted.

A CURRENT VETERINARY CERTIFICATE of Vaccination and/or booster will be required for inspection at the time of admission – to ensure that these have been administered a full seven days prior to entering our cattery.

Any cat suffering, or suspected of suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease will not be accepted.

Male cats over 6mths old must be neutered.

Only cats from the same family may share a chalet.

All cats must be transported to and from the cattery in a secure cat carrier.

Owners must leave their contact telephone number on admission.

All cats are boarded at the cat owner’s risk.

We are happy to groom as required during their stay (brushes must be supplied), the cattery cannot be deemed to be professionally competent in this function and will only perform maintenance grooming. If we feel that any grooming activity is causing distress we will stop.

We are happy for you to bring your cat’s bedding and toy(s), but such items will be subject to inspection by us and are left entirely at the owners’ risk.
